The Tiberias promenade was destroyed and the damage is estimated at millions of shekels due to strong winds that hit the area.
It is estimated that the high level of the Sea of Galilee combined with the wind caused high waves that caused enormous damage.
These are waves up to five meters high that have broken benches, floors and shop windows.
The enormous amount of water that rose on the promenade hit it hard and created even sinkholes.
Settings were also torn from the place.
The municipality of Tiberias estimates the damage at tens of millions of shekels.

The chairman of the committee in charge and the acting mayor of Tiberias, Boaz Yosef:
This is about NIS 140 million in damage.
Unfortunately, the promenade we have developed in the last two years has been badly damaged.
"In the first stage, in order to maintain the safety and well-being of passers-by, we are working feverishly to remove the collapsed fences and evacuate the many hazards caused by the storm. For
fear of injury, I ask all curious people not to reach the damaged hotspots."
