A man in his forties and his 8-year-old child died when a building wall fell on them as a result of the dust storm that hit Deir Ezzor Governorate, which also caused shortness of breath for hundreds of people who were rushed to hospitals.
The Director of the General Authority of Al-Assad Hospital, Dr. Mamoun Heza, said in a statement to SANA reporter that two deaths of a man and his son arrived at the hospital this evening as a result of injuries to the head and various parts of the body, after the wall of a building in Al-Jura neighborhood fell as a result of strong winds and dust storms that have hit Deir Ezzor since this evening. .
In turn, the Director of Health, Dr. Bashar Al-Shuaibi, stated that hundreds of cases flocked to the hospital complex in Al-Assad Hospital and the Military Hospital in Deir Ezzor due to shortness of breath and suffocation as a result of the dust storm that the governorate is exposed to, pointing out that medical and health personnel are working to their utmost to provide ambulance services to patients who resort to hospitals.
