Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi warned against the spread of extremist takfiri currents and ideas in the region.
During his meeting today with a crowd of scholars and clerics in the country, Raisi said: “We should beware of the penetration of extremist takfiri ideas in the country,” warning of foreign attempts to stir up sedition and division in the country and the region.
The Iranian president referred to the government's efforts to solve the people's livelihood problems and improve the economic situation in a more just manner.
