Asher Kola, the judge in Roman Zadorov's retrial, clarified today (Sunday) his remarks a few weeks ago that he was pressured, saying that "for the avoidance of doubt I did not attribute to any factor 'illegal acts' just as I did not attribute 'to unknown factors'."

About three weeks ago, Cola said he was close to disqualifying himself from the trial in the retrial of the murder of Tair Rada.

"I had a black Passover. I was under pressure, not only from the media but also from sources you do not know. I was close to disqualifying myself, I did not do it just because of the mother of the deceased," her voice said.

The harsh words were said against the background of an argument that erupted in the courtroom during the testimony of Paul Kisch, an American expert on bloodstains and murder scenes who testified on behalf of the defense.

The argument revolved around the interrogation of the witness by the prosecution.

The witness was asked to address the question of whether blood could have flowed from the folds of the coat that Tair Rada wore even about five hours after the murder, the date she was found.

This is because the coat label says that it is made of one hundred percent polyester.

This issue is important for clarifying the question of whether Rada's blood could have dripped on the heel of the unidentified shoe found at the murder scene just near the murder, or even hours later.

An argument broke out in the courtroom because the witness's opinion dealt with the question of whether the bathroom door where the murder took place was closed or open.

The prosecution has made it clear that the murder scene is his area of expertise and therefore its line of investigation is proper and legitimate.

During the confrontation Judge Cola told the prosecution that she claims against him that he is biased and asked that if they think he should disqualify himself they should do so so that he knows what he is dealing with.

Following Cola's remarks, the State Attorney's Office requested that the hearings in the retrial of Zadorov, who is accused of the murder of Tair Rada, be postponed - and was rejected.

"There is no room to continue hearing the evidence until things are clarified," the prosecution team announced following the words of the tribunal's father.

In a statement issued to the Nazareth District Court, the plaintiffs clarified that this request was submitted with the approval of the State Attorney, and that what was said in it was in his mind.

However, her voice rejected the request.

"For the avoidance of doubt and as long as there is no legal impediment the trial will continue as normal," he wrote.
