The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs renewed its call on the International Criminal Court to break its suspicious silence, assume its responsibilities, and immediately begin its investigations into the crimes of the Israeli occupation against the Palestinians.
In a statement today, carried by Wafa Agency, the ministry condemned the murder of Palestinian prisoner Daoud Al-Zubaidi, which was committed by the Israeli occupation forces during their aggressive incursion into Jenin refugee camp.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs indicated that the escalation in the crimes of the occupation and settlers and their appropriation of Palestinian lands, properties, homes and holy sites, and their desecration of their lives, has imposed more than ever on the international community to provide international protection for the Palestinian people as a necessary and urgent premise to enable them to exercise their right to self-determination.
The prisoner, Daoud Al-Zobeidi, succumbed to his wounds by the Israeli occupation forces' bullets during their storming of Jenin refugee camp two days ago.
