The name of the settlement made headlines in the Wall Guard when rioters threw stones at the coastal road. • Sources in the Lapid area: "This is a very weak locality that suffers from large gaps in education, welfare and infrastructure."

The director general of the alternate prime minister's office, Naama Schultz, has pledged to Abbas to advance a new government decision and allocate an additional tens of millions of shekels to the local council of Jisr a-Zarqa as part of the coalition's stay negotiations. Israel Today has learned.

As will be recalled, the name of the settlement made headlines during the Wall Guard, when the coastal road was closed to traffic due to rioting residents of Jisr a-Zarqa who threw stones at the coastal road.

Last week, Mansour Abbas held talks with the head of the replacement Prime Minister's Office, Naama Schultz, in which they demanded that the Prime Minister advance the decision of the government designated for Jisr a-Zarqa. Israel Today learned that The RAAM demanded additional funds for the Jasser a-Zarqa local council in excess of the amount stipulated in the five-year plan for the Arab sector.

In November, the government approved Resolution 550, which is the economic plan to reduce gaps in Arab society, and the plan also addressed the development of Jisr a-Zarqa.

We now reveal that Mansour Abbas has received additional funds as part of a government decision designated for Jisr a-Zarqa to be promoted by the Ministry of Social Equality.

Israel Today received a draft of the new government's decision, which reveals funds that have already been approved by the government as part of the economic plan for Arab society, but also tens of millions of new shekels promised to the Prime Minister in exchange for their stay in the coalition. Naama Schultz, from the Ministry of Finance.

According to the draft obtained by "Israel Today", it appears that Jisr a-Zarqa will receive tens of millions of additional shekels, in addition to the 40 million shekels allocated to it under the five-year plan. In addition to the five-year plan, another NIS 16.5 million.

As stated, the draft reveals that Abbas will receive tens of millions of shekels for Jisr a-Zarqa in addition to the forty million shekels allocated to him.

Sources close to Lapid responded: "It was decided to promote a special decision for the locality of Jisr a-Zarqa in Resolution 550, in which it was decided to allocate a total of NIS 40 million for the needs of the locality along with the other responses to which the locality is entitled. "This is the only Arab locality located on the coastal strip and we intend to help it realize its potential. As part of the agreements with RAAM, it was decided that Naama Schultz will help promote the decision together with the various government ministries, including the Ministry of Social Equality."
