Damascus-SANA
There is a significant decrease in temperatures in the western regions to become around their rates, while they are 3 to 5 degrees higher than their rates in the eastern and Badia regions as a result of the country being affected by an air depression that extends in all layers of the atmosphere accompanied by a relatively cold air front.
The General Directorate of Meteorology expected in its bulletin this morning that the weather will be partly cloudy in general and the opportunity is ripe for thunder showers of rain over separate areas, especially on the coastal, northern and island areas, while the weather will be cloudy, dusty and hot in the eastern and Badia regions.
The winds are northwest to moderate northwest, with active to severe gusts exceeding 80 km/h in the eastern, al-Jazeera and Badia regions, where they cause dust storms in those regions, and the sea is light to medium waves.
Tomorrow, temperatures will remain around their average or slightly higher, and the weather will be moderate in spring, between clear and partly cloudy in general, with a chance for isolated showers of rain on the coastal areas.
