Wüst thanks the FDP: And his wife

NRW Prime Minister and CDU top candidate Hendrik Wüst thanked the previous coalition partner FDP and his wife on Sunday evening.
"We have governed our country well in recent years and made good progress," said Wüst, referring to the FDP.
They worked together “in a friendly and reliable relationship”.
Düsseldorf – Immediately afterwards, Wüst said: “A very big thank you also goes to my wife Kate – thank you for your strength.” Wüst has been married to his wife Katharina since 2019.
The two have a one-year-old daughter.
According to the first projections by ARD and ZDF, the CDU with 35 percent was well ahead of the SPD with 27.9 and 27.5 percent respectively.
According to the projections, the coalition of CDU and FDP no longer has a majority.
