“Something Like Poetry” a new collection of poetry by the poet Hossam Miqdad

More than forty poetic, sentimental and patriotic texts were included in the newly issued new book by the poet Hossam Ahmed Al Miqdad from the Arab Writers Union in cooperation with Sweden Publishing and Distribution, which was titled “Something Like Poetry”.

The author of the book said in a statement to SANA news agency: “The Diwan includes a group of special sentimental poems that depict specific cases in a tone that suits the society in which we live, and patriotic poems that talk about the victory and steadfastness that Syria experienced.”

And he indicated that the book contains poems that talk about the period from 2011 to 2018 and the liberation of Syria from terrorism, and it is dominated by love of Damascus and singing of mother and beloved.
