Dignified Mass at the anniversary celebration of the boys and girls club Langenpettenbach

In a matter of minutes, the musicians knew how to bring the atmosphere to boiling point with well-known hits in the packed marquee.

The also intoned "Such a day, as wonderful as today" made the whole tent sway even before Deacon Raimund Richter entered the festive service.

A group of young visitors continued to drink in front of the tent while the beer mugs disappeared from the tables in the beer tent.

A music group from the Madlverein provided a worthy celebration of Mass with guitars, saxophone, clarinet, tambourines and singing.

Deacon Richter recalled that the girls and boys from Bembo were already planning their anniversaries at the beginning of 2019 and how the world had changed since then.

At that time nobody knew Corona, didn't think of a war in Europe.

Young people in particular are looking for orientation today.

According to Richter, love is at the top of the list.

Love is shown in the cohesion in the multitude of actions that emanate from the two anniversary clubs.

A love of customs is also very important, "and it doesn't always have to be dead serious".

In the prayers presented by young people, God was asked for well-being and all the happiness in the world.

The chairman of the Sigmertshausen boys' association, Fabian König, who recently died in a motorbike accident, was also commemorated.

At the end, Richter blessed a founding candle and the flag ribbons that now adorn the flags of the two clubs and the sponsor club from Altomünster.
