At Päh: Motorcyclist (25) dies in an accident

Region – accident near Pähl: Motorcyclist (25) dies, two occupants of a car are injured, some seriously.
Expert supports investigations by the Weilheim police.
The fatal traffic accident happened last Saturday (May 14).
At around 3:15 p.m., a 77-year-old woman from Raisting drove her car on the subordinate district road WM9 from Raisting towards Pähl.
At the junction with the higher-ranking state road 2056, the driver wanted to turn left.
The 77-year-old overlooked a motorcyclist (25) from Gauting who had the right of way.
At that time, he was driving his motorcycle along the state road in the direction of Weilheim.
The motorcyclist hit the front of his machine against the driver's door of the car and was injured so badly that he died at the scene of the accident.
The Raistingerin was seriously injured in the accident and taken to a hospital by rescue helicopter.
Her passenger was only slightly injured.
The two vehicles involved suffered total damage of around 18,000 euros.
On the instructions of the responsible Munich II public prosecutor's office, the admitting officers of the Weilheim police inspection called in an expert.
He is to support the police with appropriate reports in the exact reconstruction of the accident.
The Weilheim road maintenance department set up a diversion in the area of the accident site.
The road was closed until about 8 p.m. while the accident was being investigated.
According to the police, the fire brigades from Pähl and Weilheim were deployed with around 40 volunteers.
