Today, the Serbian capital, Belgrade, was subjected to a series of threats about the presence of explosive devices in many places, including schools, restaurants and bridges, in addition to targeting a football match, which caused a state of paralysis in the country.
And the Associated Press quoted the Serbian police as saying in a statement: "No explosive devices or explosive devices were found after conducting several searches and combing operations," noting that "it is not yet clear who is behind these alleged threats, which were published by e-mail." .
The statement added: "After spreading the threats, about 100 primary schools were evacuated, in addition to many restaurants, shops, bridges, an airport, a railway station and a water supply company."
The statement pointed out that "a football match was postponed pending a police inspection, and the police prevented movement on bridges during rush hour, causing a state of paralysis in traffic."
The authorities did not specify who was behind these threats, which were recorded during the past few days, and which have gradually increased.
Several Serbian newspapers reported that all threats came from abroad as a means of putting pressure on Serbia for its rejection of the sanctions imposed on Russia as a result of the Russian special military operation in Ukraine. Serbian Interior Minister Aleksandar Vulin stated that his country had become a special war target targeted by various European parties.
