The epidemic is ebbing in the Overseas Territories and the conditions of access to the departments and territories have been eased again since May 12, 2022. Concretely:
For vaccinated people: no longer need to provide a negative PCR test on boarding
For non-vaccinated: compelling reasons from or to overseas are no longer mandatory, with the exception of Wallis and Futuna.
The negative PCR test is however requested
In view of the local epidemiological situation, “the prefect may impose compelling reasons on departure and arrival in the territories.
The supporting documents are then checked by the airlines or the Border Police”, moderate however the ministries of Health and Overseas, in a joint press release.
Travel by
children aged 12 or over
who do not have proof of their vaccination status is authorized if they are accompanied by adults with proof of their vaccination status.
It should also be noted that since Monday May 16,
wearing a mask
is no longer compulsory on planes, but remains
“recommended”
.
In the overseas territories, curfew and obligation to pass vaccination or health are lifted everywhere, except for a few exceptions detailed on the ministry's website.

French Polynesia
For those vaccinated, no more health constraints apply.
Non-vaccinated passengers must always show a negative test (PCR or antigenic) carried out less than 72 hours before boarding.
The state of health emergency has been lifted since April 1, as has the curfew.
As in mainland France, the vaccination pass is no longer required and wearing a mask is only compulsory in public transport.

In New Caledonia, where French people from mainland France can go without any particular procedure if they are vaccinated, the only restriction that remains on May 16 is a health pass, required in establishments and public mixing places such as restaurants.
A gauge must also be respected, for example in museums and exhibition halls.

Saint-Barthélemy and Saint-Martin
Bars and restaurants are open until 1 a.m., and require a sanitary pass if their capacity is greater than 30 people (same for hotels).
Seats are all seated.
In restaurants, tables cannot exceed a capacity of 6 people.
