The federal police temporarily arrested two men at the train station in Eichenau on Saturday night.
They are said to have hit a man who is said to have previously filmed them with a cell phone.
Eichenau – At around 11:15 p.m., the operations center of the Oberbayern Nord police headquarters informed the federal police about a physical altercation at the Eichenau S-Bahn station.
The police only found a 36-year-old Somali man on site.
He stated that he had filmed a group of four men at the bike racks.
He suspected that they wanted to steal a bicycle.
(By the way: everything from the region is now also available in our regular FFB newsletter.)
When those filmed noticed this, according to the Somali, one of the men put on a balaclava and threatened him with a knife.
A second is said to have held him so that the man with the balaclava could hit him.
The other two men did not take part in the crime.
All four then fled.
With the help of the mobile phone video, the police were able to temporarily arrest all suspects in the Eichenau area.
According to the police, the man with the balaclava was a 21-year-old Kosovar from Fürstenfeldbruck.
Officials were able to secure the balaclava and the knife during a search.
The second person involved, a 20-year-old German from Munich, also carried a knife.
After securing all evidence and completing the police measures, all those involved were released.
The 36-year-old suffered no visible injuries.
The federal police are investigating dangerous bodily harm and threats.
