Save 8 minutes each way from Sheung Shui to Hung Hom

MTR said earlier that the East Rail will "speed up" in two stages. In the first stage, after the new trains will be adopted across the line from May 7, the new trains will match the new travel timetable. The journey time to Hung Hom is about 5 minutes faster.

In the second stage, starting from May 15, when the East Rail Transit section opens to traffic, the travel time from Sheung Shui to Hung Hom can be further shortened, and it can be accelerated by about 8 minutes.
