In a serious accident in the night from Sunday to Monday (May 15/16, 2022), a driver in the Lüneburg district crashed into a tree and was fatally injured.

A man is fatally injured in an accident on Monday night in the Lüneburg district.
The cause of the accident is unknown and investigations are ongoing.
Lüneburg – A driver crashed into a tree in the Lüneburg district in the night from Sunday to Monday (May 15/16, 2022) and was fatally injured.
As the police announced on Monday morning, the 46-year-old veered off the road to the right at around 1:10 a.m. on highway 232 between Tosterglope and Katemin and crashed into a tree there, as reported by hna.de.
The man from the district of Lüchow-Dannenberg in Lower Saxony died at the scene of the accident.
There were no other participants.
The exact course of events is still being determined, the cause of the accident is unclear.
The accident vehicle was severely damaged by the impact.
Police and firefighters were deployed, and further investigations into the course of the accident are ongoing.
