FDA investigating why they were slow to inspect baby formula plant for possible contamination

Since last September, there had been reports of infections in babies who consumed formula from Abbott Nutrition. The FDA commissioner said they are investigating the delay in dealing with the case and suggested the company has plans to reopen the affected plant.
