Forgotten in the Ferris wheel: the operator is leaving – two passengers remain seated in the gondola

Two passengers of the Ferris wheel were forgotten on the Regensburg Maidult.

The first Maidult weekend in Regensburg is over and the police had their hands full.
On Friday, even two visitors were forgotten in the Ferris wheel.

You're just enjoying the view over Regensburg from a Ferris wheel gondola and suddenly the ride stops.
The operator closes and goes to the end of the day.
You yourself are still stuck high up in the gondola and may have to spend the whole night there.
Something like that happened to two passengers on the Maidult in Regensburg last Friday evening, May 13th.

Maidult in Regensburg: passengers forgotten in the Ferris wheel
It was around 11pm.
The last lap of the ferris wheel on the Maidult was being shot when the operator turned off the power and went home.
What he did not know, however, was that two passengers were still in one of the gondolas at the time, according to a press release from PI Regensburg Nord.
The two were only able to draw attention to themselves around midnight.
The Ferris wheel operator then returned.
After a short time, the two passengers were freed from their airy prison.
However, the police cannot rule out that the two Dult visitors deliberately wanted to be forgotten in the gondola.
The officials are already aware of such cases.
In the past, visitors would have hidden inside the Ferris wheel on purpose.
The police could not give the reasons for this.

But there was still a lot more going on on the first Dult day on Friday.
The press release also states that a 37-year-old man is suspected of having grabbed a young woman's genitals while she was defecating.
In addition, a 14-year-old boy suffered an epileptic seizure and fell in front of a ride.
He was injured but was still responsive.
He was subsequently taken to a hospital.
In addition, the PI Regensburg North is looking for a man who is suspected of having committed dangerous bodily harm.
The approximately mid-30-year-old with a 3-day beard and unkempt clothing (dark T-shirt with blue inscription "KS") had argued with a group of visitors at the south entrance.
In the course of this he attacked two 20-year-olds with a bottle.
They were able to deflect the blows.
However, one victim sustained a broken wrist.
In addition, the man is said to have attacked a companion of the two 20-year-olds and choked on the neck.
