Health Minister Dr. Hassan Al-Ghubash stressed that any amendment to the pricing of medical examinations and medical units must be fair to patients and doctors, and requires the Medical Syndicate to monitor and control the pricing in all governorates.
During a meeting at the Ministry today to discuss the pricing of medical examinations and medical units, the participants drew attention to the losses incurred by hospitals and public authorities and the importance of regulating medical tariffs. by specialized committees.
The meeting was attended by the Deputy Minister of Health for Health Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Dammayriya, the Syrian Doctors Syndicate, Dr. Ghassan Fandy, the Director of the Military Medical Services Department at the Ministry of Defense, Major General Dr. Ammar Suleiman, and the Director of the Medical Services Department at the Ministry of Interior, Major General Doctor Michael Farah, and members of the committee tasked with considering the amendment of the medical tariff, which includes All concerned from various ministries.
It is noteworthy that the last medical examination pricing was issued by the Ministry of Health in 2004 and at the end of 2021 the Minister of Health issued a decision to form a committee to develop a detailed study on the fees for medical examinations and work fees.
