The branch of the Arab Socialist Ba'ath Party in Tartous, in cooperation with a group of Lebanese expatriates, honored 100 of the families of martyrs in the Banias area, at the city's cultural center.

And a member of the party's branch leadership, Mahmoud Shalish, said in a statement to SANA reporter that the honor is an expression of gratitude and gratitude for the great sacrifices made by the martyrs' families for the sake of the homeland, as they offered their souls so that the flag of the homeland remains high.

The expatriate, Fahd Ibrahim, one of the participants in the honor, explained that the initiative was launched by a group of young people in the expatriate since 2016 and it continues to this day.

In turn, the families of the martyrs expressed their thanks for this gesture, as Salwa Suleiman, the wife of the martyr Firas Suleiman, pointed to the greatness of martyrdom and the virtues of the martyrs, while Samira Hassan, the wife of the martyr Ammar Hamdan, expressed her pride and pride in her husband’s testimony, stressing that she raises her children to follow the path of their martyr father in the love and defense of the homeland.

Ahmed Al-Suleiman, the father of the martyr Shadi, thanked those in charge of honoring, considering that the testimony of his son increased his hardness and patience, because the country is precious and deserves a lot.
