The Wounded Home Project, in cooperation with the directorates of education in the governorates, held an interactive workshop for the wounded with the aim of motivating them to complete their educational attainment and introducing them to the educational support provided by the project.
The Wounded Al-Watan Project explained on its Facebook page that the workshops collected dozens of wounded people of different rates and were organized in the governorates of Homs, Hama, Aleppo, Tartous, Latakia, Damascus and its countryside.
These interactive workshops introduced the wounded to the progress of the educational process, especially for those who had dropped out of school for years, and also included informing them of the controls that are applied in the examination centers.
The wounded were identified who needed to be assigned a companion during the examination period to help them in the process of transmitting the answers, according to the circumstances of the injury.
The project indicated that the workshop included, in addition to dozens of wounded people who were going to take the exams for the basic and secondary education certificates, wounded who graduated in the school stages and achieved successes for themselves, so they debated together about the value of education and its impact on the lives of individuals and its great repercussions on the lives of the wounded.
The project stated that the wounded discussed, together with the project coordinators and representatives of the directorates of education in the governorates, how to return and engage in the school environment and ways to organize time to achieve the best results.
The dialogue also revolved around their ambitions and the advantages and challenges that accompany each university major, in addition to a discussion about the facilities provided by the project in cooperation with partners to provide the appropriate environment for the wounded during the academic year and also during the examination period.
Over the past years, the wounded have made great and important strides in the field of education, as many of them succeeded in various educational levels and entered universities, and today they are close to the fields of work emanating from and related to the field of education.
