Frankfurt – The sudden smell of smoke on the plane forced the pilot of a machine from Graz to Frankfurt Airport to turn back.
The crew of the Air Dolomiti machine stopped the climb and turned around, as reported by the Aviation Herald news portal.

As a passenger told Aviation Herald, the smell of burning was noticeable before takeoff.
After starting the engines, there was a smell of kerosene for a short time, then the smell disappeared.
However, about 30 seconds after takeoff, the odor reappeared and became stronger.
In addition, it is said to have been “slightly foggy” in the cabin.
Then there was a noise that the passenger said sounded like a balloon being rapidly deflated.
A few minutes later, the crew announced that the flight was being canceled and the machine was returning to Graz.
The plane landed safely in Graz about 25 minutes after take-off.
All passengers who were unwell were examined by paramedics.
According to Flightradar24, the second attempt after Frankfurt went without any problems.
