Shmulik Silman spoke with government officials and criticized the fact that it was a bad government, and also sent a message that his wife, MK Idit Silman, would not support the appointment of Matan Kahana as Minister of Religions.
As you may recall, Matan Kahana resigned from the government and returned to the Knesset, thus dismissing Kalfon who entered the Knesset by virtue of Norwegian law.
The government has approved Kahana's appointment as deputy minister of religions, but it needs a majority in the Knesset to approve his appointment as minister.
This morning (Monday) MK Silman returned to the Yeshiva faction of the right, even though she resigned from the coalition. It will not have a majority.
Silman declined to say how she would behave and told Bennett: "We'll talk about it."
In response Bennett asked her what your factional discipline was and asked her to leave the meeting.
"Israel Today" asked Shmulik Silman for a response, but the latter did not comment on it.
