For the third day in a row, official and popular delegations continued to attend the Emirati embassy in Damascus to offer their condolences on the death of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates.

The duty of condolences was offered by the Assistant Secretary-General of the Arab Socialist Ba'ath Party, Engineer Hilal Al-Hilal, accompanied by members of the party's central leadership, Dr. Mahdi Dakhlallah and Dr. Mohsen Bilal.

He also offered condolences, the Governor of Damascus, Engineer Adel Al-Olabi, at the head of a delegation from the governorate, some Christian clerics, and His Eminence, Sheikh Akl of the monotheistic Muslim sect in Suwayda, Youssef Jerboa, accompanied by Sheikh Mahmoud Al-Hanawi, Ambassador Dr. Ghassan Obeid, Director of the Protocol Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, sheikhs, clan elders, popular delegations, and heads of unions and federations Professionals, businessmen, a number of political and party figures, members of the People’s Assembly, ambassadors and representatives of Arab and foreign diplomatic missions in Syria.

The participants were received by the duty of condolences, Chargé d'Affairs of the UAE Embassy in Damascus, Abdul Hakim Al-Nuaimi, and a number of embassy diplomats.

The Deputy Speaker of the People's Assembly, Muhammad Akram Al-Ajlani, was accompanied by a number of council members, a number of official figures, clan elders, popular delegations, religious figures and businessmen who offered their condolences yesterday at the Emirati embassy in Damascus.
