Carlos Vives is back with the second part of "Cumbiana", a project with which the samarium sought to explore the sounds and origins of the amphibian culture of his native Colombia.

In this production, his fifteenth studio album, Vives takes us on a journey with collaborations with Mau y Ricky and his daughter Lucy, with Camilo Echeverry, Fito Páez and even the Black Eyed Peas.

With this American group and Play-N-Skillz, Vives presents "Teke Teke".

The album mixes vallenato, pop, cumbia, hip-hop, rock, reggaeton, tango, electronic sounds, merengue and native Colombian rhythms: bambuco and curralao.

"Right or wrong", Thunder

The Argentine rapper Trueno arrives for the first time on our list of musical premieres of the week with his second studio album, "Bien o mal", an album that, despite having been released a few days ago, already has more than 600 million views on

streaming

platforms .

As its name indicates, the album has a duality in which it seeks to increase the message that it had already presented on its debut album, "Atrevido", which came out in 2020.

The production has 13 songs, with "Zanta Land" being the production's cover letter.

According to a statement, this song is the "backbone of the spirit that runs through all the material. It includes: the voices of iconic artists of Argentine folklore such as Victor Heredia and La Charo; the sampling of Gustavo Cerati's

Sulky

; the inspiration in the lead guitar from Facundo Cabral's classic (

I'm not from here, nor am I from there

); and the sound of Thunder manifesting: 'Latin America doesn't cry, it sings'".

Becky G "Schemes"

Singer Becky G returns to our musical premieres with "Bailando con mi ex", the single with which she presents "Esquemas", her second album.

"Pure feeling", Paula Arenas and Manuel Medrano

Colombian singer-songwriter Paula Arenas returns to our list of musical premieres with her new single, "Puro Sentiment," alongside her compatriot Manuel Medrano.

This is Arenas' second theme of the year.

In this song, Arenas talks about the unmistakable attraction between two people, a letter that matches the magnetic rhythms that the production presents us.

This is the first time that Paula Arenas and Manuel Medrano sing together... and this couple is still on stage, because they are both on tour in Mexico.

"Fly Very High" by Olga Tañón

From the heights comes the woman of fire, Olga Tañón, who presents the merengue version of "Vuela muy alto", performed 20 years ago by the salsa boy, Jerry Rivera.

The song speaks of a separation, of the person who decides to take the step of breaking up with a relationship to achieve the fullness of his life and ultimately, happiness.

“This song is very significant because it is a super famous and well-known song in a salsa version thanks to Jerry Rivera.

Having the opportunity to produce it in merengue was a challenge, but I'm sure it will meet expectations.

I promised my fans that I would produce more music than ever, and this is just the beginning: I'M BACK, "Tañon said in a statement.
