During patrolling in Tsuen Wan District at about 1 am yesterday (15th), officers of the New Territories South stormtroopers found a 14-year-old boy with suspicious behavior near Mid Shan Street. About 8 grams of suspected cocaine were seized on him during interception and inspection.

According to the information and after in-depth investigation, the officers of the Tsuen Wan Police District Crime Squad believe that the arrested boy has a gangster He Shenghe background and is a member of the He Shenghe drug syndicate in the district.

Police believe the group has two drug factories in the area.

At 11:00 last night, the police launched an operation at a factory building unit on Henglong Street and seized about 92 grams of suspected crack cocaine, about 13 grams of suspected ketamine, 2 electronic scales, a batch of suspected drug packaging tools and about 1,504 yuan in cash.

Officers arrested a 21-year-old man surnamed Lin on suspicion of "drug trafficking".

A 14-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of "drug trafficking" and "drug making".

"Drug maker" wanted on the run

The police later searched another factory building unit at Chai Wan Kok Street and found that the unit was an important drug-making workshop of the group. There were a wide variety of drugs, including about 522 grams of suspected ketamine (commonly known as K-boy), about 10 gram of suspected "ice", about 24 grams of suspected cannabis oil, about 3.6 kilograms of suspected ecstasy powder, a small amount of suspected ecstasy, as many as 347 boxes of suspected cannabis candy weighing about 21 kilograms, and a batch of suspected drug packaging tools.

Police are currently looking for a 20-year-old man surnamed Lin who is suspected of "drug manufacturing".

The total market value of the drugs seized during the operation was about 530,000 yuan.

All arrested persons are being detained for investigation.

The case was handed over to the first team of the Tsuen Wan District Crime Squad for follow-up.
