President al-Assad issues a decree renewing the nomination of a president and 6 members of the Supreme Constitutional Court, and naming 4 new members

President Bashar al-Assad issued Decree No. 127 to renew the nomination of lawyer Muhammad Jihad al-Lahham as head of the Supreme Constitutional Court, renew the nomination of 6 members and nominate 4 new members.

Below is the text of the decree:

                                                                Decree No. 127

President of the Republic

According to the provisions of the Constitution.

And the provisions of Law No. 7 of 2014

              draw the following

Article 1 renews the nomination of Mr. Lawyer Mohammed Jihad Al-Lahham as Head of the Supreme Constitutional Court.

Article 2 renews the designation of the following gentlemen, whose names are members of the Supreme Constitutional Court.

Judge Raslan Ali Traboulsi.

Judge Malik Kamal Sharaf.

Dr. Jamila Muslim Al-Sharbaji.

- Dr. Saeed Abdul Wahed Nhaili.

Attorney Majed Rashid Khadra.

Lawyer Motasem Sekker.

Article 3 The following gentlemen are named members of the Supreme Constitutional Court.

Mr. Fares Melhem Satouf.

Judge Debo Abdel Salam Shehadeh.

Judge Maysa Anwar Al Mahrous.

Judge Wissam Badi' Yazbek.

Article 4 This decree shall be published and notified to whoever is required to implement it.
