PS PLUS: Sony reveals the list of games in the redesigned service

Sony unveiled about two months ago its revamped PS PLUS service which is set to place it as a direct competitor against Microsoft's Game Pass service.

The new service has actually merged the PS PLUS service together with the PS NOW and starting this coming June subscribers will be able to choose between three tracks with each offering different benefits of its own.

Sony is now unveiling a list of games that will reach the two more advanced tracks (Extra and Premium overseas, in Israel and other countries there is another category called Deluxe) that will be available for PlayStation 4 and 5 consoles. The list includes exclusive Sony key games in addition to keys Third Party.

It's important to note that Ubisoft's games will be available through the Ubisoft + service to which players will need to register externally, just as EA games on the PC PC Sets platform connect players to EA's external platform.

The line of classic games

Part of the library will also include some older and more iconic games from the PlayStation 1 and PSP era that will run at high frame rates and high resolutions compared to their launch on older consoles.

Sony noted that although these are old games that the save option was not always available at any given moment as in modern games, it will add menus with the option to save and even "move back" the games in case players want to perform an action again.

Unfortunately, Sony's cloud service is not available for Israeli subscribers, so we will not enjoy the benefit.
