The rift on the right:

Prime Minister Naftali Bennett today (Monday) expelled MK Idit Silman from the Yeshiva faction meeting after refusing to pledge to support the appointment of MK Matan Kahana as Minister of Religions when she told him: "We will talk about it."

Last Friday, a few hours before Shabbat began, Minister of Religious Affairs Matan Kahana announced to the Prime Minister his resignation with the aim of strengthening the coalition, for fear of a possible defection of MK Yom Tov Kalfon.

Today at the faction meeting, Silman refused to answer Bennett who asked her about appointing Kahana as minister of religious services again.

And said "we'll talk about it."

In response, Bennett asked her if she was "not embarrassed to come and how is her factional discipline expressed?".

Silman replied, "I am a right-wing friend."

And Bennett decided to expel her from the faction meeting.
