Russian political analyst Alexander Nazarov considered that the war in Ukraine has turned into a long war of capabilities and capabilities that Russia is waging against the United States and the West, and it can win if the exchange of sanctions and economic strikes destabilizes the West and reaches the point of disintegration.

Nazarov pointed out that the United States does not find a reason to expedite the end of the war, as it prefers to limit itself to the blood of Ukrainians, while Moscow participates in a professional Russian army, and the war does not affect the Russian society, which stands united to the extreme around the president and is ready to bear the difficulties in the face of the United States.
Nazarov added that Russia's main war is an economic war with Europe and Washington, and Moscow has just begun to use its capabilities in that war, and for natural reasons the main battle will be in the fall and winter when Russia's winning playing cards such as energy and food have the most weight.
He pointed out that the United States carried out its aims by hastening the start of the conflict, and the urgent withdrawal of its forces from Afghanistan in the summer of 2021 was irrefutable evidence of its planning for the conflict in Ukraine.
