A woman in her 40s was found today (Monday) unconscious in a house on Hagana Street in the city of Ashdod.
MDA medics and paramedics found her with no signs of life and determined her death.
The husband called police and said he had hurt his wife.
Police forces began carrying out operations to locate the husband.
Shortly afterwards, police reported that the husband had been arrested.
The circumstances of her death have not yet been clarified.
MDA paramedic Israel Lugsi and emergency medicine medic Ural Assulin said: "When we arrived at the scene, our friend joined the police forces and entered the apartment.
"We saw the woman lying unconscious, we performed medical tests on her but she was without signs of life and we had to determine her death on the spot."
