Police arrested a 23-year-old resident of Tel Aviv last night (Sunday) on suspicion of raping a minor resident of Petah Tikva.
According to the suspect, the suspect and the victim knew each other on social media, and during a meeting near her home the suspect raped her.
The police located the suspect, and this morning he will be brought to the Magistrate's Court in Petah Tikva for a hearing on extending his detention.
