The electricity supply to Al-Hasakah Governorate was stopped due to the strong winds that led to the exit of the 230 KV Tabqa-Al-Abwab tension line.

The General Director of the General Electricity Company in Hasaka Governorate, Eng. Anwar Okla, said in a statement to SANA reporter that the electrical supply is via a 230 kV voltage line.
The link between the two stations of Tabqa and Al-Abwab stopped yesterday evening due to the storm that is affecting the area, which is accompanied by strong winds. He indicated that the storm also caused an unclear malfunction on the line, and it needs to be detected on its path to determine it and to start repair work if the weather conditions improve.
The tension line is 230 kV.
