The hospital security guards, with the assistance of the Israel Police, restored order.

"The entire staff was left shocked and agitated by the severe violence, and two lightly injured staff members are currently being treated in the emergency room," it was reported.

"At this time, the hospital director and the social service director are on site to carry out a support procedure and process the incident with the staff."

The hospital's director, Dr. Tamar Elram, said that "Hadassah expresses a deep shock at the difficult event, where they only think about saving lives and working to alleviate the pain of patients.

Our team, dedicated people who do their job faithfully around the clock, have been beaten and injured, and do not believe that after the efforts invested in caring for a patient, his family has rewarded them with such severe violence.

We must not, we must not be quiet and rest until the law is exhausted with them in the most severe way.

"I stand here tonight in sorrow and embrace each and every one of our staff members and ask to remind them that the majority, fortunately for us, is not like that."
