Yesterday we learned that it was not one, but two countries that wanted to join the ranks of the Alliance.
And not just any countries: countries deemed neutral.
Driven by the invasion of Ukraine by Russian armies, Finland abandoned its historical neutrality and - accompanied by Sweden - took a decisive step towards NATO membership.
A decision that did not really please Vladimir Putin, who rightly justifies his “
special operation
” with his neighbor by the risk of an enlargement of the Alliance.
