The Russian Ministry of Defense announced the downing of 3 Ukrainian fighters and the destruction of 325 new manpower and combat equipment mobilization sites, 14 command headquarters and 24 artillery positions, as part of its continued military operation to protect the Donbass population.
The Ministry's spokesperson, Major General Igor Konashenkov, stated in a press briefing today that two command headquarters, including the headquarters of the 72nd Ukrainian Mechanized Regiment, were destroyed last night, using high-precision air missiles, in the vicinity of the town of Tasabovka in the Kharkov province, and 16 sites for mobilizing manpower and combat equipment. 8 permanent firing points and 5 depots of missile and artillery weapons in the town of Krasnyi Lyman in the Kharkov region, in the towns of Vladimirova and Konstantinovka in the Donetsk People's Republic and in the town of Perestovoye in the Lugansk People's Republic. 360 Nazis were eliminated and 78 pieces of combat equipment were disabled.
He pointed out that the Russian air defense forces had shot down two Ukrainian Su-25s in the air in the towns of Yevgenovka and Velikaya Kamishevakha in Nikolaev Province, and a Ukrainian Su-24 in the Zmyti island region, and 10 marches over the towns of Novostvetlovka in the Republic of Lugansk, Dementievka, Izum and Mali Prokhode In Kharkov, Donetsk, Viskoye and Kalinovskoye provinces of the Donetsk People's Republic.
Konashenkov said that since the start of the special operation, 168 aircraft, 125 helicopters and 889 drones were shot down, 307 anti-aircraft missile systems, 3,108 tanks and other armored vehicles, 381 rocket launchers, 1,529 field guns and mortars, as well as 2,949 special military vehicles of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were destroyed.
