Tutzing – The general meeting of the Weltladen Tutzing recently took place in the Roncalli-Haus after a two-year Corona break.
In the report of the board of directors, the 1st chairwoman Heike Dewitz went into the major areas of shop operations, further education and fair community.
There was good news from the two Corona years 2020 and 2021: the world shop was able to maintain its sales, in particular thanks to the "Click & Collect" offer.
Heike Dewitz thanked the particularly committed Blanca Calero, Nicole Gundermann and Richard Brisslinger.
Since normal team meetings could hardly take place, club life was conducted via telephone conferences.
Nevertheless, there was a regional meeting of the world shops in Upper Bavaria in March 2020, a webinar on the Bavarian One World Day, in August 2021 a team meeting with a film about the upcycling of elephant dung and in September 2021 together with the one world coordinator the “Fair Trade Basic Course”.
Due to the good result, the world shop was able to donate a total of 7,500 euros to six charitable organizations in 2021.
The focus was on promoting school education and training for children and young people.
Heike Dewitz was confirmed in office as 1st and Annegret Schorn as deputy chairperson.
The members elected Richard Brisslinger as treasurer and Vera Brisslinger as secretary.
Blanca Calero and Martina Böhnlein were also newly elected as assessors, Günter Schorn remained the 3rd assessor.
