About two weeks ago, Microsoft announced an event that will take place next month in which it will reveal all the games that players can expect to receive in the Xbox and Game Pass in the coming year.
Microsoft has noted that a significant portion of the event will be dedicated to the games of Bethesda, which was also acquired by the technology giant about two years ago and it has already been announced that some of the developer's games may in the future reach exclusively to its consoles and platforms.
Since that acquisition many players have been waiting and expecting to see what Bethesda will provide under Microsoft, with eyes mainly on the two new games Bethesda began developing even before the acquisition: Starfield (described by the developers as "Fallout in Space") and Redfall, A new shooting game from Arkane that will combine vampires and co-op.

Both Starfield and Redfall are scheduled to release during the current year and while the hype is at its peak, many players expected to receive trailers and more information about these two titles at the upcoming conference, but last week Bethesda dropped the bomb and announced that these two titles will be postponed until 2023 - and disappointed Quite a few players on the net.
Xbox CEO
Phil Spencer commented on the delay on Twitter: “These decisions are difficult for both the developers and our fans.
Although I fully support giving teams the time so that they can develop the games until they are ready, we are also attentive to feedback from the community.
We will continue to work hard and provide consistent quality as expected of us. "
Phil Spencer's apology for the rejection of Starfield and Redfall
Whoever did not accept Spencer's apology is veteran gaming creator
David Yappa
(who was in charge of the Twisted Metal series and the first two God of War games for the PlayStation 2) and came out with a scathing attack on Spencer in a podcast on his official YouTube channel: "You're on the face, Phil Spencer."
"You remind me of when I was 28. I knew I knew how to design games, I knew I had commercial ideas. It took me seven-eight-nine months to realize that I could not produce a game myself at all, and another game that I directed in addition."
Japa went on to explain that in his youth he tried to produce a game himself called Dark Valleys for Sony, but the project wasted $ 2 million for the company and never saw the light of day.
Japa notes that the Dark Valleys' failure did give him experience and brought him into contact with a number of talented people in the industry, those who also helped him turn his next game (God of War for PlayStation 2) into a hysterical hit: "It helped me understand that there are things I am good at No.
Go to Phil Spencer, you're not good at this job. "
"Phil Spencer, you're on your face"
Japa continued with the attack which began to feel too unpleasant and personal and noted that this is not the first time that an exclusive Microsoft project has been rejected and claimed that an apology in one post does not solve the problem: "I'm not kidding, the only explanation for this behavior is ego. "It's already beyond the stage where you publish an apology in the post and promise to do a better job."
"Do you think that's enough for someone in your position who runs one of the largest gaming companies in the world? It's nice that in 2022 you came to the conclusion that your customers are expecting games" - a statement aimed at Microsoft's exclusive gaming delays, like Halo Infinite released last year. 2020.

Japa concluded: "Do not fire Phil Spencer. He is a man of vision. I love his Game Pass vision, and if someone can stop him from causing destruction for himself, he can be the spearhead in leading the industry to a good place for gamers and creators."
While Bethesda has rejected Redfall and Starfield under Microsoft's new supervision, the developer has quite a few internal issues and criticism of the games long before it was acquired and moved to Microsoft's sponsorship.
Even if you're in a PlayStation camp and think Spencer really does not deserve the job (which is a legitimate statement in itself), it's a statement that has crossed the line of good taste.
