Our heritage is both the bearer of our identity and, because it is rooted in the land, bears a message for humanity: that of the long history of genius, know-how and human sensitivity in developing the surface of the earth and meet their material, artistic and spiritual aspirations.
It is a good that is ours, but the conservation of which obliges us well beyond our borders.
