The suspects belong to an extremist ultra-Orthodox faction, and were arrested while traveling in a minibus in which explosives were seized, which were allegedly intended to damage the electricity, communications, and publicity infrastructure set up for the celebration at a cost of millions of shekels.
A similar incident took place a few weeks ago, in which extremist ultra-Orthodox were also arrested

A minibus carrying women and men, some of whom belong to an extremist ultra-Orthodox faction, was stopped today (Tuesday) after explosive devices were seized that were allegedly intended to cause damage to infrastructure during the celebration at the Har Meron complex.
The suspects were arrested and taken for questioning.
In the minibus, four sacks full of locomotives, Japanese knives, hammers, colored eggs, and gloves were seized.
According to the suspicion, these were intended to be used to sabotage the communications infrastructure, the announcement, and the screens set up for the use of the Meron celebration at a cost of millions of shekels.

A few weeks ago, dozens of ultra-Orthodox arrived at the tomb complex in Meron, where they rioted and tried to destroy the infrastructure built for the big celebration, just a year after the disaster.
Police forces rushed to the scene made four arrests and restored order.
