After months of reports and testing, the moment has come and the Battle Royale Apex Legends game has been launched for Android and iOS mobile devices and is now available for free download in Google Play and App Store.

A new and exclusive character
The first season of Apex Legends on mobile brings with it a new character:
Fade
, which will be available exclusively to mobile players and currently there is no plan to bring it to PC or consoles.
Fade's Passive ability will be called
Surge
and it will allow him to get a boost quickly as the players slide with the character.
Flashback
: The Tactical ability will be familiar to all those who have played Overwatch, and it will allow players to "go back in time" up to a certain range so they can take advantage of it and surprise rival teams or even deter teammates from an enemy approaching ahead of time.
Phase Chamber
: Fade's Ultimate ability will function as a grenade that once exploded all players in the explosion range will not be able to cause damage but also will not be able to absorb damage on their own.
This will create interesting or exhausting situations (depending on which side of the battle you are on) where players will be able to stop the battle and breathe air, or try and abandon.

Exclusive game modes and an essential feature
The mobile version will include the regular Battle Royale mode that players are familiar with in addition to the "Fast Battle Royale" mode which more or less explains itself.
Players will also be able to find a three-player mode against three others, and a familiar and classic Team Deathmatch mode.
Apex Legends on mobile will also include a new feature called Team Fill that will link and connect players to teams whose teammates have been abandoned during active play.
The characters that will be available at launch will be the same characters that were also available at the launch of the PC and console version: Bangalore, Wraith, Mirage, Caustic, Gibraltar, Pathfinder, Lifeline, Bloodhound, and also -Octane, the first new character released in game updates.

Apex Legends' move to mobile devices is not surprising given the success of games like PUBG or Fortnite, and games like it are considered one of the most successful titles by EA, which also announced plans to release Battlefield to mobile as well.
The success of mobile games does not escape the eyes of the industry's developers either: Ubisoft and Activision recently announced the development of mobile versions of Rainbow Six Siege and Voice of Duty Warzone.
