The jubilee of the Catholic boys and girls club Langenpettenbach has a police aftermath.

Because a girl lay unconscious in a meadow for hours, the Kripo is investigating.

Langenpettenbach – After a two-year corona break, the young people from Langenpettenbach and the surrounding area were obviously starving.

They wanted to celebrate themselves, life and their club: the Catholic boys and girls club Langenpettenbach.

However, the big anniversary in Langenpettenbach seemed to degenerate a bit, at least on Sunday.

As many witnesses and participants report, the alcohol flowed in large quantities from the morning.

What a 17-year-old drank and what happened to her afterwards - under certain circumstances - is now even the concern of the police.

Possible sexual abuse at the anniversary of the boys' club and girls' club Langenpettenbach?

As a spokesman for the Oberbayern Nord police headquarters in Ingolstadt announced yesterday, a young girl was missing for a total of three hours on Sunday.

What she remembers: that she drank a lot of beer in the morning.

And that she woke up around 6 p.m. in a field several hundred meters from the fairground.

What she doesn't know, however, is how she got to the field, where and with whom she spent the hours from 3 to 6 p.m. and why, when she woke up in the field, parts of her clothes were out of place.

Police: "No obvious evidence of rape"

The police spokesman emphasizes: "There are no obvious indications of rape." A forensic examination carried out on the girl also revealed that the teenager had taken "no intoxicating substances" apart from alcohol.

Therefore, there are now three possible explanations for the condition of the girl.

First: The 17-year-old was drunk and fell asleep on the field.

Second, she had a consensual tryst with an unknown young man.

Or, thirdly: There was a sexual offense.

Kripo investigates and asks for witnesses: "We should not let any crime slip through our fingers"

The Kripo is therefore urgently asking for witnesses.

"We don't want to rule anything out.

No crime should slip through our fingers," emphasizes the spokesman.

At the same time, he doesn't want to put an entire party under general suspicion.

However, many witnesses may have difficulty remembering the feast Sunday.

Even before the service, which began at 9 a.m. on Sunday, beer was served.

As eyewitnesses observed, a group of 250 to 300 people took the beer mugs with them in front of the tent and drank there, while the beer mugs disappeared in the marquee, as is customary at church services in the marquee.

Excessive alcohol consumption at the anniversary celebration in Langenpettenbach

For the parade, which started at 2 p.m., some groups had several beer porters with them, while others pulled large canisters with self-mixed alcoholic beverages on ladder wagons.

"Some visitors were already swaying during the procession and were visibly drunk," observed one visitor.

After the move, the two bars in particular were heavily besieged, while the marquee gradually emptied – probably also due to the high temperatures.

Around 6 p.m., when the festival was drawing to a close, eyewitnesses said there were several dead bodies on the way to the festival tent.

As the alcohol level increased, some also became more violent: at least five beer benches were destroyed.

Atmosphere according to the Mayor of Indersdorf “cozy, hearty and normal”

The mayor of Indersdorf, Franz Obesser, who describes the mood on Thursday, Friday and Saturday as "cozy, hearty and normal", remarked on Sunday at noon: the mood is boiling.

"It was too extreme for my needs." The organizers responded well, turned down the music, and the general mood in the tent calmed down.

But not with everyone.

"At every festival there are 50 or 100 lunatics that one would rather not have been there."

What really bothers Obesser, on the other hand, is a "bad habit that I've been observing for a few years": Time and again it happens that young people bring their own alcohol, sometimes with schnapps, to such parades.

So it's not surprising that there were also "many very drunk people".

No matter how well an organizer can take precautions and control.

He paid tribute to the organizers for this "very special event".

Incidentally, even the police recognize that the young people “finally want to leave again”, as Obesser puts it.

According to the organizers, everything has been done to ensure the safety of the visitors

When asked, Julia Obesser, chairwoman of the Madlverein, stated that she did not notice anything about the incident on Sunday afternoon.

However, she emphasizes that everything has been done by the organizer to ensure the safety of the guests.

The festival site was fenced off, a security service had been hired and there were age checks in the bar tent to ensure that schnapps was only served to those over 18.

Yes, she admits, alcohol was drunk during the pageant.

"But that wasn't from us.

We can't control it when we move, we have no influence on that. ”She now hopes that the unclear incident with the 17-year-old will soon be cleared up.

Because otherwise, according to Obesser, it was a "really peaceful festival"!

Police are looking for witnesses

Witnesses who can provide information about the case, who noticed the 17-year-old girl leaving the fairgrounds - possibly accompanied - or who noticed the young people sleeping on the field, please contact the police in Fürstenfeldbruck Telephone 0 81 41/61 20.
