"Hartz and cordial" from the Benz barracks: Pascal suffers from illness - and therefore has a walking disability

Unemployment and money worries: The "Hartz und cordial" actor Pascal knows these problems only too well.

But these seem minor compared to his burdensome medical history.

The Benz Barackler suffers from a paresis.

"I had a blood clot and a stroke in my brain when I was born," Pascal reveals in an interview with YouTuber "MM One".

The Mannheimer was born too early.

In addition, the tendons on his knees did not grow with him - which is why he walked in a stooped position.

"Hartz and cordial": Pascal is characterized by a long medical history - "eight years in a wheelchair"

For a long time, the Benz barracks Pascal could only move around in a wheelchair and was busy building muscles.

He is no longer dependent on a wheelchair.

Pascal even regularly travels by train to his girlfriend, whom he met through the RTLZWEI show "Hartz und Herzen".

The Benz barrackler had to put up with a lot before he was finally able to walk again: "I was in a wheelchair for eight years and had to endure fifteen operations - I pulled through it," he summarizes his time in a wheelchair .

The operations dragged on for more than ten years.

"Hartz and warm" in Mannheim: Pascal gets orthoses so that he can walk again

In order to finally be able to walk independently again, Pascal had to wear so-called orthoses on his legs.

“Pascal couldn't run without them.

He would always have caved in," explains mother Beate on the TV show "Hartz and cordially - Benz barracks day after day".

But the orthoses caused Pascal a lot of frustration.

Again and again, the young Benz barrackler had to undergo new therapies - and even spend more than half a year in rehabilitation.

"If it goes wrong, it will go wrong," Pascal kept trying to calm himself down before the interventions.

"Hartz and warm": Pascal with a strong message to wheelchair users - "think positively"

Since Pascal knows what it feels like to be in a wheelchair, he can well understand that some people can lose heart.

However, the social documentary participant appeals to the viewers of "Hartz and cordially - day after day Benz barracks" never to give up and to continue to "think positively".

He doesn't want those affected to lose the will to fight: "If you think negatively, then you don't have the attitude to continue - not the fighting instinct that I had.

I wanted to run!” Pascal continued in the interview.
