The chairman of the Bezeq Group, Gil Sharon, announced today the appointment of Ilan Siegel to the position of CEO of Pelephone, Yes and Bezeq International, after the Bezeq board of directors approved the appointment.
Siegel will replace Ran Gurion, who was recently appointed CEO of Bezeq.
Siegel has over 20 years of experience in management positions in the communications market, and he returns to the Bezeq Group, after serving as CEO of Golan Telecom and VP of Business Development of the Cellcom Group.
Sigal served for about 9 years in senior marketing positions at Bezeq, and another 5 years as VP of Marketing and Business Development of Pelephone and later for the three companies, Pelephone, yes and Bezeq International.
Following the appointment, Sharon said, "Ilan returns to the Bezeq Group after a successful term in the management of the cellular company Golan Telecom. During his many years of work at the Bezeq Group, Ilan became a manager with a strategic vision, marketing understanding and managerial focus.
