The Ministry of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection closed a number of gas stations in several governorates for violating the illegal disposal of diesel and gasoline, the shortage and trafficking in them.
In the governorate of Damascus, according to data SANA received a copy of, the ministry closed the Al-Jedd station for three months after fining it with the value of the seizure, due to trafficking in gasoline at an over-priced and under-performed kilometer.
In Lattakia Governorate, it closed the Miqdad fuel station in Jablet al-Bawdi area for three months, due to a violation of the illegal disposal of diesel and gasoline, and the Falcon fuel station in Jableh, which is designated for sale at cost for three months, due to a violation of an increase in the amount of gasoline with the intention of trafficking and illegal disposal.
In Tartous Governorate, the Daghma-Deir Habash gas station was closed for three months, due to a violation of the kilo shortage of gasoline, while in Hama Governorate, the construction fuel station was closed for three months, violating the disposal of a quantity of diesel, and the Al-Madani station was closed for three months, in violation of the measure of shortage, and the Al-Bared petrol station was closed with a violation of disposing of quantities of fuel. Gasoline and closing a petrol station for three months in violation of collecting cards with the intention of trading them.
The ministry indicated that the seizures would be referred to the competent judiciary and that penalties would be severed in the event of repetition, at the risk of withdrawing licenses.
