Le Cyclop
by Jean Tinguely and Niki de Saint Phalle is coming back to life after more than a year of meticulous and gigantic restoration, at the initiative of the Cnap (National Center for Plastic Arts).

Thanks to a budget of 1.5 million euros, this colossal work, the result of a collaboration of 14 artists (including Eva Aeppli, Arman, César, Daniel Spoerri, Jean-Pierre Raynaud, Jesus-Rafael Soto, Rico Weber and Larry Rivers), will return to the public from May 22.
Construction began in 1969. Over the years, everything goes.
The Face of Mirrors,
by Niki de Saint Phalle, was the major challenge of this restoration.
Covered with mirrors over nearly 325 m2 (i.e. 62,000 tesserae), the work had begun to deteriorate in 1996...
