To be honest, I was shown something that, from my point of view as a French filmmaker, author of a comedy, I hadn't anticipated.
The question began to arise with Zemmour who puts Z everywhere.
My little Z to me then escapes me a little but, after all, it is a letter of the alphabet.
I do not care.
And then come the first Russian tanks with the letter Z. I don't make the connection either with my film, which has nothing to do with it.
From the moment it is selected for Cannes, it becomes international and sends a signal to the world: “Cannes opens with Z”…
