Former Czech Prime Minister Jerji Parobek stressed that Western countries' sending arms to Ukraine would prolong the war, stressing that "it is necessary to work for peace and not to send more weapons."
"The continuation of the war in Ukraine will lead to economic and social destabilization in Europe in general and the eastern part of it in particular," Paroubek said in an interview with the Czech website Parliamentary Papers.
Paroubek pointed out that one of the main mistakes the United States makes is its belief that it can defeat Russia, pointing out that Russia is a superpower that possesses nuclear weapons, enjoys a strong economy and is self-sufficient in gas, oil, wheat and other strategic materials.
Paroubek pointed out that many of the sanctions imposed by Western countries on Russia have badly affected Russia and affected its economies.
