A spokesman for the Department of Health said that according to the pesticide residues detected in the samples, in the case of general treatment of diseases, it will not cause adverse effects on the health of those who take it.
However, long-term high intake of triazophos or chlorpyrifos may affect the nervous system.
So far, the Department has not received any adverse reaction reports related to the above Chinese herbal medicines.
