The criminal police are investigating.
Starnberg – A 37-year-old man threw a Molotov cocktail at police officers who stormed his apartment in Starnberg, Upper Bavaria.
The eight police officers were not injured by the petrol bomb themselves, two of them suffered minor injuries while retreating, the police said on Tuesday.
The man is being investigated for attempted homicide.

Police officers and patrol officers in uniform had planned “identification treatment” for the man on Tuesday morning and, according to a police spokesman, wanted to take fingerprints, for example.
The spokesman was initially unable to say what the 37-year-old was originally accused of.
The man did not open the door and barricaded himself in his apartment.
The police officers pushed open the door with a ram and thus "forced entry".
In the entrance area, the man with the petrol bomb pelted them.
The police spokesman said that the police officers had initially withdrawn, as is intended in such a situation.
They later overpowered and arrested the 37-year-old.
The fire caused by the incendiary device was quickly extinguished.
The man is scheduled to appear before a magistrate on Wednesday.
